Constructure brings new customer focus to Auckland

Structural engineering firm Constructure has opened an Auckland office to bring its successful formula of expertise and client service to the biggest market in the country.
Constructure originated in Christchurch, but has a national footprint with around 7000 completed residential and commercial projects from Northland to Queenstown.
In less than seven years, owner Cory Bedford has created a well-respected multi-million dollar business with 20 staff, based on simple principles of customer focus and reliability.
“We are not the only good engineers in the country, but our dedication to our clients and delivering what we promise and when we promise, has proven to be extremely attractive to customers,” says Bedford. “It is easy to make promises, but not always easy to deliver on those promises.”
To deliver on their commitments, Constructure has developed its own unique tracking system for all its projects, where individual engineers are responsible for the projects and identify and fix any complications instantly.
“That way we can respond quickly, but more importantly, we can also keep our clients abreast at every step,” says Mr Bedford who personally supervises all ongoing projects.
Constructure recently opened a second office in Auckland to deal with the growing demand in the City of Sails, both in residential and commercial construction.
The Auckland team is led by respected local structural engineer James Knight and Bedford expects to be moving into bigger offices later this year for his expanding team.
Bedford is excited to have a presence in the Auckland market that continues to grow. “We have been dealing with large volumes of work and complex issues, during the peak of the Christchurch rebuild, and we now want to offer those skills and expertise to Auckland based architects, builders and designers.”
