Marlborough Vintners, 309 Rapaura Road, RD3, Blenheim.

Speakers include:
Geraldine McBride, an international, kiwi-born technology executive who sits on the boards of Fisher&Paykel Healthcare, National Australia Bank and SkyTV and is a co-founder of MyWave, an AI startup scaling out of NZ and Australia.
Randy Komisar, managing partner from Kliener Perkins who’s fireside chat at the end of the summit was one of the two top rated presentations. As a direct result of his visit Randy was inspired to write “Straight Talk for Startups – 100 rules for beating the odds” which is currently ranked no.1 on Kindle’s Business Technology section.
Jeffrey Paine is a founding partner of Golden Gate Ventures based in Singapore which since it’s inception in 2011 has invested in 30 companies across Asia. GoldenGate consider any ventures expanding into Asia and will invest between $US1-10m in early stage and series A rounds.
Wendy Wolfson has extensive experience in raising funds and angel investment in the USA, particularly from and for women. Wendy is currently working with the Next Wave Impact Fund and has worked with the predecessor fund, Rising Tide, to educate and engage more women in early stage investment.
Marisa Warren, the founder of Elevacao, an organisation with profile and traction in Australia, San Francisco and New York helping woman founders to scale and attract investment. Marisa has deep experience in corporate M&A and extensive networks.

What will I come away from the summit with?

  • A bunch more friends and super relevant contacts
  • Pithy, practical insights on how to do this thing with more impact
  • A great little goodie bag
  • And a tank full of inspiration…
