With millions of dollars being paid out across some of NZ’s largest employers, the burden of interpreting of the Holidays Act sits squarely on the shoulders of payrollers. Add in last minute changes and incomplete information and it becomes very easy to make a miscalculation that will not only cost your business time and money, it could put you under the IRD spotlight.

Join us at Payroll 2020 as we walk you through where people are getting wrong.  Whether it’s irregular hours, variable work or final pays, our speakers will dive deep into the curliest payroll investigations, audits and re-calculations.  Foodstuffs Payroll Manager, Teulia Clifford will step through how she uncovers the big problems and also makes sure they never happen again.

At this year’s Payroll event you will also be joined by MBIE, the Auckland District Health Board, the IRD, Business New Zealand’s Manager of Employment Relations Policy and many more as they investigate and spark conversations about:

  • Holidays Act: Future preparedness – balancing awards, wage relativity and implementation
  • The eco-system of assurance – protecting future calculations
  • Best practice audits and risk mitigation – FAQs for SMEs to reduce your risk of endless recalculations
  • IRD & Payroll: The transformation journey and payday filing one year on; and
  • Practical calculations: Variable hours and irregular work patterns – amending errors and managing expectations

Two Regions, 300 Payroll Practitioners and all the biggest payroll issues business are facing.

VENUE: Ellerslie Event Centre, 100 Ascot Road, Remuera, Auckland.
