Business solutions company EasyForms have won the Westpac Auckland Business Awards (North) 2015 for Excellence in Strategy & Planning.
In conjunction with the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, the award recognises businesses that have developed long term strategies, set targets and devised specific plans fundamental to their success. EasyForms were awarded the title for their strong, clear strategy, particularly notable given business was only registered in 2013.
“We were up against a group of great local businesses, but I believe we won because, even as a young business, we have a really clear vision.” says Dave Rouse, EasyForms director.
EasyForms turns paper forms into cloud-based apps, increasing efficiency and streamlining flows of information, and allowing businesses to reduce time spent on administration and become more sustainable. Focused on delivering solutions to unique business problems using the latest in smart technology, EasyForms’ systems can be accessed via multiple mobile devices, send direct and compatible data, and integrate with businesses’ other internal systems.
“EasyForms’ business strategy allows us to grow as fast as we can,” says Dave. “We intend to go global and achieve maximum reach as efficiently as possible.” EasyForms’ strategy includes taking on other enterprises as partners in the market place and sharing a common goal with those partners; growth.
“Our plan for the future centres learning from the right leaders,” says Dave. EasyForms are a member of Ignition, a peer-to-peer support network that fosters the growth of early stage entrepreneurial businesses, through the Auckland chapter of the global Entrepreneur’s Organization, as well as the North Harbour Business Association, BNI, Health IT and the Sustainable Business Network.
“Part of our success can be attributed to learning from those around us,” he says. “These networks allow us to absorb knowledge from mentors and business leaders. We’ve learnt from the experiences of people who have done it all before, but put our own spin on it, choosing a passionate team of people who are dedicated to seeing EasyForms revolutionise businesses.”
With a client base that varies from family-run businesses to enterprises including ASB, 2Degrees, SHARP and Auckland University, EasyForms are positioning themselves as market specialists in the sustainable business sector and their recent award highlights how far they have already come.
“EasyForms is about arresting pain points in businesses,” says Dave. “We want to help businesses go paperless by fostering customer satisfaction at an achievable price. We’re looking forward to reaching a more diverse audience and helping more businesses streamline their internal processes to be as efficient and effective as possible.”
