Maybe Richard Branson is the greatest entrepreneur in the world now that Steve Jobs is gone, but what makes an incredible entrepreneur at the grass roots level? Transformational coaching and events company Rock Your Life believe they have the answer. In 2013 they will again be searching for the grass roots entrepreneur with the most ‘X’ factor in over 20 cities globally.
Chairman and Founder Mike Handcock, a serial entrepreneur, award winning writer and speaker with over five companies himself says it’s this:
“You can be great at what you do and work 12 hours a day, but in the end the people who fast track success are the ones with ‘X’ Factor and it’s pretty clear to us from our event series globally in 2012, and years of working in over twenty countries, what that is.”
Handcock believes there are five components to stunning success as an entrepreneur:
1. Having a huge why to doing what you do.
2. Being able to clearly communicate your message to your audience in 30 seconds or less.
3. Absolutely and confidently managing your environment (internally and externally).
4. Your ability to think globally yet act locally.
5. Being present constantly so you know what’s going on at that very moment and the opportunities that can create.
“Most entrepreneurs are totally focussed on the wrong questions. They always want to know how to get further, how to make money. How is such a disempowering question. Entrepreneurs who have a huge why to what they do, and who focus on what they can do that very minute to move things ahead always move ahead and fast” says Handcock.
Along with Dave Rogers, Asia’s leading entrepreneur coach and a host of over 30 guest millionaires, successful entrepreneurs and self made people, Handcock’s Rock Your Life will be touring over 20 cities in 2013 with an event called ‘Entrepreneur ‘X’ Factor. This event, he feels, is a combination of short cuts from people who have done it, massaged with qualities of people who have the ‘X’ factor, and finally a competition where the participants get to pitch themselves and their ideas to the audience. The audience vote will determine a city heat winner who will go into the global competition, won in 2012 by Kate Macpherson of Belicious in Singapore.
Handcock and Rogers and several of their guests have ended up even working with some of the impressive people they met in 2012, so if you wish to build your business fast, learn from global experts and compete even to see how you stack up or how you can improve, then details of the event are at:
