Digital agency Yellow has won a Google Premier Partner award in Australasia for the Growing Businesses Online category.
Google launched the Premier Partner Awards earlier this year to recognise top-performing digital marketing partners from around the world and their contributions to product innovation and client growth. The awards programme received thousands of case study submissions, each detailing the success an agency has achieved for clients in one of six categories.
Yellow’s case study was selected out of thirteen shortlisted finalists in its category, including other key industry players such as NZME and Advisible in the Asia-Pacific market. The case study was based on Yellow client EZ Covers, a small local business which offers a clever alternative to adhesive school-book covers, and their key goal of growing online performance.
Through a series of campaigns with Yellow, ROI from search increased 300% year-on-year for EZ Covers, supporting the company’s growth and expansion into international markets including Australia and the UK.
Darren Linton, Yellow acting CEO says, “This award is a proud achievement for the Yellow team and reflects our commitment to helping everyday kiwi businesses make the transition from print to digital, and enter the online market. As one of the country’s largest digital agencies for small to medium businesses, we are working to set the industry benchmark and are confident that we provide the best Google AdWords service in Australasia.
“This award demonstrates the strong capability of Yellow’s digital services and expertise, and how technology can help small businesses achieve their goals.”
Yellow’s entry has now qualified to compete for a spot in representing Asia Pacific at the global awards. Overall global winners will be announced at the Google Partner Summit at the end of September in New York City.
