There’s no quick fix to addiction. By the time it’s discovered in the workplace, it’s often past the point of simply making a referral to the Employee Assistance Programme.

For a complex problem, professional help is crucial. Private rehab is a great way to support your employee quickly and discreetly into sobriety. Ocean Hills is run by a team of qualified addiction and mental health clinicians using science-backed therapies and education.

Located in Hawke’s Bay, our guests have the space and support they need to step back from their lives, get educated about addiction and begin the process of rebuilding. They learn the practical skills and tools to build a sustainable life of sobriety.

Get help quickly

Our waiting lists are small – days or weeks – compared to months in the public sector. Most guests stay with us from two-to-four weeks, then continue with a comprehensive aftercare support programme for as long as necessary.

Why does this matter to you?

If the employee affected by addiction was worth hiring, they’re likely worth keeping. Staff are one of your biggest assets, so investing the time and money in backing your people will pay dividends. And having someone believe in you is one of the biggest motivators to get and stay sober.

What our guests say

Many of our guests are from professional backgrounds and have told us they value the privacy and small groups that Ocean Hills offers. We are a small facility, which means our guests get a lot of one-one-one attention in a calm atmosphere. As one guest says:

“From the minute I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for; my sense of relief was enormous. Every step of this programme happened at the right time – I felt as if it was designed just for me. All the staff were amazingly gentle and supportive and so skilled. They all clearly love what they do and were led by their compassionate, passionate and happy leader, Elaine. Thank you all so much.”
