FleetPartners launches smarter way for Kiwi businesses to choose and lease vehicles

FleetPartners’ new online tool lets Kiwi businesses compare and estimate costs for over 600 lease vehicles in minutes.

For time-poor business owners and fleet managers, finding the right business vehicle can be a time-consuming process with juggling dealer visits, spec sheets, and spreadsheets of running costs. Now, FleetPartners has streamlined that journey with the launch of its new Business Vehicle Lease Calculator and car selector tool.

The online platform lets businesses browse, compare and view the estimated lease cost of over 600 new make and model variants, from tough utes and versatile vans to sleek sedans and spacious SUVs. Searches can be refined by make, fuel type, drivetrain, seating capacity or even a weekly price range that fits the budget.

Cristy Spencer, Head of Marketing & Channel Sales at FleetPartners, says the calculator is the latest example of the company’s commitment to supporting Kiwi businesses with smarter vehicle solutions.

“We know business owners are focused on running their business and are time poor, so we are providing a solution that allows them to research vehicles and pricing online before contacting a fleet company or going into a dealership.

“Because the lease payment includes exclusive use of the vehicle for the life of the lease and most running costs like registration, servicing and replacement tyres, it’s now possible to digitally compare the potential total cost of ownership of a vehicle.”

Unlike looking purely at the sticker price, FleetPartners’ approach considers the often-overlooked costs of vehicle ownership including depreciation, resale value, and maintenance.

“Rather than just focusing on the RRP, a bundled lease helps compare the often-forgotten running costs of a vehicle,” says Spencer.

Once a shortlist of vehicles is created, customers can apply for a credit limit through a secure online portal. Automated credit limits of up to $150,000 are possible without the need for financial statements, while larger businesses can request higher limits.

FleetPartners offers operating leases from 24 to 60 months or up to 200,000 km. All leases bundle scheduled servicing, maintenance, on-road costs, discounted fuel and fuel management, accident management, replacement tyres, registration renewals, and 24-hour roadside assistance into one fixed monthly payment. That means no capital outlay, no balloon payments, and less admin – while keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and road-ready.

Spencer says the calculator will be especially valuable for businesses running smaller fleets of two to 20 vehicles.

“We are excited to launch an online tool like this to support Kiwi businesses.”
