Lydia Ko, Ritchie McCaw, Marina Erakovic, Valerie Adams. What pushed these champions to the top of their games? It was their coaches and how they were guided, developed and stretched. How are you actively driving high performance in your teams, your future stars and putting them in charge of their development?

At this half-day Summit, Kevin Chambers, EMA’s learning and development expert, will discuss measuring capability and how to best bridge the skills gaps in your teams. Kevin will deconstruct active vs passive coaching techniques, and how to enable your staff to self-measure to build confidence and own their performance.

Taking a step back and looking at the big picture, Jenny Williams, Executive Director of the “employee experience intelligence” company Humankind, will dig into how teams and individuals respond to different methods of performance management. Jenny will explore integrating real-time feedback with strategic KPI setting without making your people feel like it’s just a police check-point. Diving deeper into our sessions, our four keynote speakers will present on:

  • Evolving roles to retain high performers – upgrading, lateral promotions and redeploying the talent you have
  • People & purpose – building a culture of visibility with business goals and making everyone a part of ‘the bigger picture’
  • Reflective analysis – enabling & empowering employees to self-measure progress and outcomes

Balance out the financial performance and people performance parts of your strategy and walk them forward hand-in-hand. Making this a priority will bring in the best talent and keep them with you for the long term.

Venue: EMA Business Hub Auckland, 145 Khyber Pass Road, Grafton Auckland.
