The minefield that is the Holidays Act keeps even the most experienced managers guessing. Are you sure you are applying the statutory rules correctly?

The summer holidays are coming and no doubt you are receiving leave requests and forms from all directions. Statutories, close downs, annual leave, accruals and sickness: you need to get them right.

Our experts will be on hand to walk you through the calculations, entitlements and the curly areas that the textbook doesn’t quite cover. This short seminar will cover everything you need to get them right the first time including;

  • Calculating across the board – where to from here, when one leave becomes another?
  • Christmas Pay – annual leave, public holidays and close-downs. What does the law expect from payroll?
  • Managing casuals, shifts, temps and short term contracts – when nothing quite fits the box
  • How to pay with intermittent, temporary and fixed term employees

Our presentations are followed by a 30-minute Q & A session for you. Please raise your tough situations for the experts to give you practical solutions.

Everyone wants their staff to be able to pay their bills on time this holiday period. Get all your calculations and leave entitlements sorted before they pile up.

26th November, 9am-11.30am

EMA Business Hub, 145 Khyber Pass Road, Grafton, Auckland.
