Buy NZ Made and LUMO have joined forces to launch a competition offering six New Zealand-owned small businesses the chance to showcase their products and services on premium digital billboards nationwide.

The initiative celebrates New Zealand Made Day on November 21, highlighting the vital contributions of local businesses to the economy and communities across New Zealand.

“This exciting initiative aims to support and celebrate local businesses, providing them with an opportunity to reach a wider audience and boost their brand visibility,” says Buy NZ Made executive director Dane Ambler.

NZ Made is a not-for-profit organisation that’s dedicated to promoting and supporting Kiwi businesses across the country.

New Zealand-owned digital out-of-home media network, LUMO has a network of 69 digital billboards which help brands reach 1.6 million people each week.

Its CEO and Co-Founder Phil Clemas says that LUMO is passionate about supporting the communities, businesses, and environments where its screens operate.

“This competition is our way of giving back to local businesses who inspire us and our audiences with their resilience and innovation. We believe that when local businesses succeed, so do our communities,” says Clemas.

To enter, participants can nominate a New Zealand-owned small business by following Buy NZ Made and LUMO on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, tagging their nominated business or sharing the competition post.

Winning businesses will each receive a digital billboard package worth $5,000 NZD. Nominations close at the end of November.
