This month, Spark Lab is putting the spotlight on marketing, with a brand new series of four events that will look at the opportunities afforded by today’s ever-changing digital landscape and an increasingly globally connected audience.
The new November series, which will be at the Spark Lab base in Auckland’s Seafarers building, follows a national tour of the Lab around New Zealand throughout October.
Spark’s Head of Business Customer and Marketing, Richard Sandford, says the company is looking forward to tackling the subject of marketing over this next month:
“With over 4 billion connected people in the world, opportunities to rapidly grow audiences have never been greater. This is an exciting time for New Zealand businesses and marketers – there have never been so many ways of reaching consumers so quickly or so many smart digital tools at businesses’ disposal.
“There’s huge potential to use these tools and make the most of New Zealand’s changing social landscape to achieve awesome business growth, and we don’t want our customers to miss out on that.
“This next series at Spark Lab will give businesses the opportunity to hear from and talk to those who are leading the way in this swiftly changing marketing landscape.”
The series will focus on subjects particularly relevant for New Zealand businesses in this environment – marketing through social media, marketing to new New Zealand audiences, better branding, and how tech can be leveraged to give New Zealand businesses an edge.
The speaker line-up includes “Brand Yoda” Tracey Lee and ‘human-centred’ marketing exponent Neil McGregor. Nick Sui will look at how to better connect with the growing and influential Asian segment, and Diane Foreman will share how she learned to focus on what really matters.
The sessions are open to everyone and free to attend, although spaces are limited. A number of sessions will be live-streamed on Facebook and videos from all of the events will be available online, so that businesses around New Zealand can benefit from what’s shared.
