Grant Milne is executive director of Marsh’s SME/‘Middle’ Market operation. The company itself is a good example of an organisation adapting to changing markets. As cashflows have tightened across the SME board, Marsh has adapted products and its own marketing strategy to ensure vigorous growth in straightened circumstances – using business and other associations to provide critical mass, and then providing targeted products at competitive prices.
