Award winning community favourite DogHQ (profiled in the April 2013 issue of NZBusiness) has officially opened a new Tiny Town area to specifically cater for the more delicate of canine creatures.
Star host of the Morning Rumble on The Rock and presenter of Maori TV’s hit sports quiz show “Head to Head”, Leah Panapa, was happy to help officially open the latest exciting development at the center on Saturday.
“Dog HQ is a life saver for my husband and I, we both have very busy lives, and on the days I have to be on the radio and filming I can relax knowing our two dogs are in excellent hands so I was thrilled to open the new Tiny Town facility,” says Leah.
Having already established an exceptional reputation amongst local dog owners as the place to go for positive dog socialisation, owner Louise O’Sullivan wanted a completely separate area for the small timid types and physically delicate breeds in order to better cater for the social needs of every personality and breed.
“Providing a positive social experience for all dogs in our care is central to everything we do so the development of Tiny Town was a natural extension to our existing Day Care service now that the number of dogs we serve has grown,” says Louise.  “We are really excited about the opening of our new play group!”
As North Shore’s premium dog day care facility, DogHQ provides a safe and caring environment for dogs to play together off leash and Tiny Town will allow many of the miniature breeds, such as Italian Greyhounds, Dash Hounds, Poodles and Chihuahuas, to find greater social confidence.
