Entries for the 2018 National Pacific Business Trust Awards are officially open, with six categories for businesses to enter.

Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony hosted by Pacific Business Trust (PBT) in Auckland in June 2018.

Held ten times since 1993, the awards highlight the transformation of innovation into business excellence and celebrate the growing number of Pacific entrepreneurs and established businesses that contribute positively to the NZ economy.

There are six awards categories for Pacific businesses and business people to enter, including:

1. Pacific Innovation Award

2. Pacific Business Award

3. Pacific Impact Award

4. Hatching Pacific Business

5. Pacific Social Enterprise Award

6. Pacific Business Woman Award

PBT Chief Executive Kim Tuaine says the transformation of Pacific businesses engaging with PBT continues.

“The awards are the perfect opportunity to showcase and acknowledge some of these outstanding Pacific-led organisations,” says Kim. “They recognise excellence in business and bring Pacific success to the forefront with recognition amongst peers, business leaders and the wider business community.”

Anyone can put forward someone for an award or businesses can enter themselves via the awards website. Entries close on 31 March 2018 and winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony in Auckland in June 2018.
