A new, innovative style of standing desk is now available in New Zealand to allow Kiwi office workers to sit and stand as they please.

The new Cube Corner 36 by Varidesk is a more refined version of its original version Cube Corner 48, designed to maximise the usable space in a cubicle corner desk, and in turn, improve people’s energy and productivity significantly by standing while working.

Like every Varidesk standing desk model, the Cube Corner 36 comes fully assembled, sits on your existing desk, and features a patented two-handle, spring assisted lifting mechanism that makes it easy to move up or down in just seconds with minimum effort.

“As an elite athlete sustained posture and position throughout the work day has a massive impact on the quality of my training and injury prevention,” says New Zealand Olympian and Varidesk ambassador, Richie Patterson. “Varidesk allows me to rotate my workstation and maintain a healthy posture productive to my athletic ambitions.
“As an educator through my workplace Sprain & Strains Management courses I encourage businesses and individuals to get off their seat and stand with Varidesk. It will drastically reduce back pain from sustained seated workstations and improve the quality of your life, helping people and companies become happier, healthier and more productive,” Richie says.

The Cube Corner 36 joins a range of American-designed standing desks which have been revolutionising the standing desk movement across the world since 2013.
