Samsung CSP is the only exclusive Samsung repair centre in New Zealand, providing expert servicing for everything from smartphones to large commercial displays. With a commitment to high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction, the company has grown from its Auckland base to a nationwide operation, handling over 2,000 repairs per month.

The opening of Samsung CSP in 2008 allowed faster, local repairs and improving customer experience for Samsung products. With a team of 40 highly trained technicians and service representatives, the company has become a critical part of Samsung’s customer support network, delivering fast and reliable service.

Samsung CSP services a wide range of products, including smartphones, home appliances, and large-scale commercial displays. The company is dedicated to providing quick turnaround times – three days for mobile repairs and seven days for major appliances – ensuring customers receive efficient and seamless service.

“Our goal is simple: Fast, reliable service with genuine Samsung parts,” says Operations Director Roy Kim.

“We aim to make repairs as smooth as possible, whether it’s a phone, a fridge, or a television.”

Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

As the only exclusive Samsung repair centre in New Zealand, Samsung CSP exclusively uses genuine Samsung parts, ensuring that all repairs restore devices to their original condition. This direct support from Samsung allows the company to maintain the highest service standards and access official parts quickly.

“Because we are the official repair centre, our technicians receive direct training from Samsung New Zealand and can access genuine parts on the same day,” says Roy.

This commitment to quality differentiates Samsung CSP from third-party repairers, offering customers the most reliable and effective service available.

However, maintaining this high standard comes with challenges. Sourcing official parts increases operational costs, and managing stock levels requires careful forecasting to balance demand and expenses. Additionally, supply chain disruptions, fluctuating exchange rates, and shipping delays add complexity to maintaining a seamless repair process.

New Zealand’s tech-savvy consumers also present unique challenges. Customers often arrive with detailed knowledge and specific questions, expecting advanced technical insights. To meet these expectations, Samsung CSP invests in continuous staff training to stay ahead of evolving technologies and customer needs.

Adapting to technological advancements

The rapid evolution of AI-driven and smart technology has transformed the repair landscape. Modern devices and appliances now involve interconnected software and hardware components, requiring specialised expertise to diagnose and repair.

“Every year, repairs become more digital. We are not just fixing hardware anymore; we are managing software, connectivity, and AI-driven systems.”

The company continues to adapt by upskilling its technicians and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies.

Nationwide expansion

Recognising the need for greater accessibility, Samsung CSP has expanded beyond its Auckland headquarters.

Since January, the company has opened eight official drop-off centres across New Zealand, including locations in Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown, Wanaka, and Invercargill.

“Customers outside Auckland often feel left out,” says Roy.

“Our goal is to ensure everyone in New Zealand has access to the same high-quality Samsung repairs.”

These new centres allow customers from across the country to receive expert servicing without long delays, bridging the gap between urban and regional areas.

Looking to the future

As technology continues to evolve, Samsung CSP remains committed to providing the best possible repair services across New Zealand. The company’s vision is to grow alongside Samsung, ensuring that as new technologies emerge, customers have reliable support to keep their devices running smoothly.

With a focus on quality, efficiency, and nationwide accessibility, Samsung CSP is setting the gold standard for tech repairs in New Zealand, ensuring every customer receives the best service and support for their Samsung products.
