Stephen Mansfield CEO Quest Apartment Hotels NZ & Fiji comments, “2018 is a big year for Quest. We’re marking our 20th anniversary of operating in NZ, another year of record revenue growth, significant property investment and an exclusive partnership with Air New Zealand.”

“Quest has been under represented in the Christchurch market with only one operation in place since 2005, so it was timely to review the needs of the business traveller market and ensure we were meeting their demands,” says Stephen Mansfield.

To meet this need, Quest on Manchester opened in July 2018. It is a purpose-built accommodation facility with 46 apartments comprising of studios, one and two bedroom options and plenty of car parking onsite.

In East Tamaki, the 60 room extension at Quest Highbrook will be completed and open in December 2018. Looking forward to 2019 Quest will see a number of new properties open during the year. First will be Quest on Tuam in Christchurch, continuing the growth in the city with the opening of an 84 apartment property directly across from the newly completed Justice Precinct. Following that, in the later half of the year, will be Quest Tauranga Central and a new Quest in Palmerston North.

More properties will be announced for 2019 / 2020 with eight other new projects currently in the planning phases for Auckland, Manukau, Christchurch, Mt Maunganui and Wellington.

20 years after establishing business operations in New Zealand and Fiji, Quest has become the exclusive accommodation partner to the Air New Zealand Airpoints for Business programme, effective 1 May 2018.

this partnership is synergistic with Quest’s business focus on establishing accommodation options across New Zealand, predominately aimed at the business traveller market, largely driven by the domestic SME sector.

The Air New Zealand Airpoints for Business programme, which primarily focuses on the SME sector, provides both the owner of the business and the traveller the opportunity to accrue Airpoints each time they travel. These points can then be used at a later date towards business or personal travel.
