BusinessNZ has announced the appointment of Katherine Rich as its new Chief Executive, effective September.
This decision marks a significant leadership shift for the organisation, following the departure of Kirk Hope, who is stepping into the role of CEO at the Financial Services Council after nine years of service.
Katherine Rich brings a wealth of experience to her new role at BusinessNZ, drawing from her extensive background in both the public and private sectors. A prominent figure in New Zealandโs business community, Rich has held various influential positions, including Board chair and member roles, as well as CEO roles with leading industry associations. Her experience extends to three terms as a Member of Parliament and significant roles in marketing and management.
