Waikato Chamber of Commerce is encouraging Hamilton businesses to maximise the opportunities that the new Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) network brings to the City.
“Having UFB available now in Hamilton means our business community has access to the country’s best digital infrastructure,” says Chief Executive, William Durning.
“We have a diverse range of businesses here in Hamilton and increasingly they are doing business online. UFB means they can have fast and reliable access to customers and clients across New Zealand and around the world.”
To celebrate the completion of Hamilton’s UFB network, Ultrafast Fibre Limited is holding a ‘Beyond Broadband’ Expo at Claudelands Event Centre, in conjunction with the Waikato Show, from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 April 2016.
Durning says the Expo will be “an excellent opportunity” for business people to find out how UFB can transform the way they are working.
“As a city, we’ve been provided with the infrastructure; now it’s our chance to seize that and do great things with it.”
The three-day ‘Beyond Broadband’ event includes a series of free workshops for the community, students, teachers and businesses.
Ultrafast Fibre Chief Executive, William Hamilton, says the Local Fibre Company is excited to showcase the future of “world-class broadband” to Hamilton.
“We want as many people as possible to get the best internet experience,” says Hamilton. “Whether you’re a novice or an expert, or even an existing UFB-connected business looking to innovate, ‘Beyond Broadband’ will provide you with practical, relevant advice.”
