‘If it’s grey, we’ll pay’ – is a black and white statement that Partners Life Ltd is prepared to stake its reputation on.
It is this attitude which helped the life insurance company secure the Westpac Supreme Business Excellence Award at last night’s gala dinner held at the Bruce Mason Centre. The annual awards programme is run by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED).
Partners Life Chief Executive, Naomi Ballentyne, says the award is an absolute honour which recognises her team’s huge effort to protect New Zealanders’ financial security at times when they are most vulnerable.
Naomi Ballentyne says trust and fairness are at the heart of the company’s brand which is built on a commitment of integrity and fairness when responding to claims.
“Advisors trust us to look after them and their clients, and not to look for reasons to avoid paying a genuine claim. This reputation is central to our success and our promise ‘if it’s grey, we’ll pay’ leaves no doubt that the customer is at the core of our business,” says Naomi Ballentyne.
Established in 2010, Partners Life Ltd is on track to becoming one of New Zealand’s leading life risk insurance companies, offering a comprehensive range of financial services and products.
“We’re continuing to grow, innovate and improve our business and the life and risk options offered to New Zealanders. Our focus is on continual enhancement to ensure we provide the best products to meet our customers’ needs,” says Naomi Ballantyne.
Partners Life Ltd also scooped the Easiyo Best Medium-Large Business, and Babcock Excellence in Leadership awards. Other multiple award winners included BRAVEday Ltd, organic blueberry company oob, and swim and fitness company Northern Arena Ltd.
ATEED Chief Executive Brett O’Riley says the awards are a valuable opportunity to celebrate the successes of local businesses and the inspiration they provide for the business community.
“Among tonight’s winners is a strong drive for growth, providing best-of-breed services and the development of both national and international markets, all of which are critical to Auckland’s continued economic growth,” says Brett O’Riley.
The business awards are proudly supported by Westpac New Zealand Ltd.
“As proud supporters of local, regional and national businesses, Westpac is delighted to help with a programme that inspires organisations to strive for and celebrate success,” says Mark Fitz-Gerald, of Westpac New Zealand.
“Congratulations to the 2013 Westpac Auckland North Business Excellence Awards winners – we’re sure this is a stepping stone to even greater business success.”
More than 350 people were at the dinner to celebrate the winners.
