The David Awards 2024 has revealed its category winners and the prestigious Supreme winner, showcasing the outstanding achievements of small businesses in New Zealand.

Today’s announcement, shared in a 10-minute video on the awards’ homepage, highlights a range of inspiring stories and innovative ventures, along with insightful commentary from the judges.

This year’s Supreme Winner is Forty Thieves Nut Butters, recognised for its exceptional standards across all facets of business operation, also winning in the Most Outstanding Established Business category. The judges say that the owners have demonstrated remarkable dedication, balancing family and business responsibilities while establishing a robust financial foundation and an ambitious growth plan. Their commitment to local production and community support, coupled with increasing international sales, solidifies their status as deserving champions.

Hannah Payne from Voyager, the awards’ major sponsor, expressed her enthusiasm for the Awards and winners: “A huge congratulations to the David Award winners for 2024! From a wide range of deserving small businesses to the outstanding finalists and now the successful winners, we’re thrilled to be able to support the spirit and determination it takes to be a small David among the Goliaths for the third year in a row.”

A special issue of NZBusiness magazine will be published on Monday with exclusive profiles on all the winners.
