For the second year running, #MyBizQuest is looking for ambitious entrepreneurs who are keen to get a business idea off the ground or take an existing project to the next level.

The campaign is aimed at business people who are commencing or continuing their business journey and may need help reaching the next step.

The winner of #MyBizQuest 2017 will receive a business grant worth greater than $15,000, which includes direct investment in business infrastructure priorities, travel and accommodation expenses to support business development, mentoring from Quest and the public relations benefits of being promoted as the #MyBizQuest 2017 winner.

“Building a business isn’t easy, and often taking the first steps to bring an idea to life are the hardest,” says Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ) CEO, Stephen Mansfield.

“#MyBizQuest was created with this challenge in mind and offers a unique opportunity for New Zealand entrepreneurs to bring their ideas into the future,” continues Mansfield.

Entrants for #MyBizQuest 2017 are invited to upload a short video (up to 60 seconds) to the Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ) Facebook page describing their business ambitions and why they deserve to be the winners of #MyBizQuest 2017. Entries close 31 January 2017 and the winner will be announced in late February.

Inaugural winners, Little Yellow Bird (LYB) were able to expand their business globally and secure contracts with high-profile New Zealand companies as a direct result of winning their #MyBizQuest kick-starter package.

“We would highly recommend aspiring businesses enter #MyBizQuest. The mentoring package gave us the information and expertise we needed to take our business to the next level,” says Little Yellow Bird co-founder Samantha Jones.

“Through #MyBizQuest,” adds Mansfield, “we want to understand what the entrant’s passions are, how to support these passions and how Quest can help bring them to reality”.
