Winning in AI & Zero-Click Strategy is being put on by event organisers The Optimisers and Datacom.

AI and the rise of zero-click search in focus at Auckland business event

Digital and AI experts will share practical strategies to help businesses stay visible and competitive as AI transforms online search and customer behaviour.

Businesses are being urged to rethink how customers find them online as artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes search, websites and digital marketing strategies.

The Auckland event aimed at SMEs, Winning in AI & Zero-Click Strategy, taking place on May 12 at the Datacom Building in Auckland CBD, will bring together digital and AI experts to help businesses adapt to the changing online landscape.

The morning seminar will explore how AI-powered search tools and “zero-click” results are changing customer behaviour, reducing traditional website traffic and forcing businesses to rethink their digital presence.

Among the speakers is Kristian Lorenzon, General Manager of Datacom Digital, who will discuss how organisations can redesign websites to become “AI-ready” environments that better support AI-driven customer journeys.

Jennifer Michtavy, an AI-driven systems designer at The Optimisers & MA, will focus on how businesses can remain competitive as AI increasingly answers customer questions directly, often without users clicking through to websites.

Other sessions include Rheed MacPherson, CEO of Signal Studio, outlining what modern websites need to look like in the age of AI, while Richard Conway, CEO of The Optimisers and PureSEO, will explore how AI-driven keyword research can uncover new growth opportunities.

The event runs from 8:30am to 11am and includes networking and morning tea. Organisers say the session is designed to give business owners practical strategies to improve visibility, attract customers and future-proof their brands in the AI era.
