Print shop celebrates growth

Printing. com Northshore has now officially relocated from Takapuna to Albany. Around the theme, Pretty Darn Cool, various customers, staff and colleagues celebrated the move earlier this month by turning on one of Constellation Drive’s first neon signs.

In an increasingly digital age, PDC Northshore has been adept at evolving into far more than “just” a print shop. This move to a prestigious, highly visible location is a reflection of their growth, says franchise owner Erin Adkins.

“We’re delighted with our new home, which gives us the chance to work more easily with our customers due to better parking. It also creates more of a studio feel, which embraces our broader offering to the market. PDC now provides its clients with design, websites, apparel, promotional gifts, exhibition equipment and a spectrum of marketing support services.” 

Studio manager, Hayley Karanui, is convinced of the opportunity. “The new site enables existing customers to visit us more easily – since it’s only a stone’s throw up the motorway – but it also opens up the business to a much larger commercial centre, around Albany and Rosedale.”

There is no doubt that NZ print companies operate in a crowded marketplace, but PDC Northshore has managed to overcome this by offering an exceptional local service combined with a high volume central mechanism that ensures incredible savings on print, even on small jobs, Karanui adds. 
Unlike some companies the print orders don’t go offshore – they’re printed in New Zealand, and all business is serviced locally through a network of franchises throughout the country.
